• Pattern Recognition Engine

  •  Over 90% Accuracy

The recognition of image patterns is a well-known problem in a variety of domains ranging from parts inspection, online advertising to biomedical image diagnosis.

SureEyesTM   is a generic pattern recognition engine developed by PatternSoft to recognize patterns in a variety of imaging domains. It draws upon state-of-the-art research in object localization and pattern recognition.

SureEyesTM can recognize patterns under a variety of situations including:

  • Non-uniform scale changes and translation. Commonly occurs in logo recognition in web pages, and images produced by graphic design tools.

  • Affine distortions (scale, rotation, skew, translation). Occurs in the case of scanned documents as well as camera-generated images.

  • Illumination changes (for camera-generated images).

  • Noise. By introducing feature redundancy, we achieve robustness to noise.

  • Partial occlusions (cases where the pattern is partially hidden in an image due to noise or projection geometry).

SureEyesTM can recognize patterns from many image sources including:

  • Black and white patterns in bitmap images (in about 20 file formats including gif, tif, jpg). Colored patterns present as images

  • Patterns, eg. Logo images present in HTML, PDF or Postscript documents.

  • Patterns in files produced by various graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia's Freehand.

  • Large library of patterns (> 2000).

SureEyesTM is available as a standalone executable with well-defined API (C++, C, Java versions available), or as part of a complete enterprise image management solution(includes GUI, Backend Database (Oracle, DB2)), Application Server and Web-based deployment) through our Solutions Division.
